Who we are.

In 1947, Pleasant View Home opened its doors as Inman’s Home for the Aged and has remained a steadfast pillar of the community ever since, growing into one of the area’s largest continuing-care facilities in south-central Kansas. In 1946 Mrs. Henry Vogt offered her home to be converted to a retirement home, on the condition she was taken care of and allowed to live there for the duration of her life. From that gracious, humble beginning Pleasant View Home has grown to the long-term care facility we know today. What started as a home that housed just a few residents has become a community within a community that has the capability to offer a home to 122 residents.

Also located on the Pleasant View campus in the quaint town of Inman is Pleasant View Estates, one of the area’s premiant Independent Living centers. Pleasant View Estates boast 66 congregate apartments with private garages available, 7 duplexes with private garages, 1 four-plex with a double car garage, and 12 income-based rental apartments. All of our independent living facilities are pet friendly!

Pleasant View Home Health offers home care services to four neighboring counties and can also serve our residents at the Estates. Medicaid is welcome at all three services.

Pleasant Hills in Hutchinson, just a short 11 miles down the road, is a highly-sought-after home plus facility. This gorgeous new home offers 12 rooms, beautiful views and pets are welcome.

All aspects of Pleasant View Home, Pleasant View Home Health, Pleasant View Estates, and Pleasant Hills are overseen by a consortium of six area churches. It is the mission of Pleasant View to provide a safe, comfortable, Christian environment where individuals may recover as well as live life to the fullest.
